1. Who we are
Terry Timepiece makes and sells mechanical watches. For the purposes of data protection law we are the controller of any personal data described below. [Registered company name, number and address to be inserted.]
2. What we collect
Only what you send us. If you complete the enquiry form, or write to us directly, we receive your name, your email address, the subject you selected, and whatever you choose to put in the message.
We do not collect anything else. There is no account to create, no newsletter signup, and no profile built about you.
3. Why we hold it
To answer you, and to keep a record of the conversation if it leads to an order or a service. Where an enquiry becomes a purchase, we keep what we must in order to honour the warranty and meet our tax obligations.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone, ever.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session tracking.
It also makes no third-party requests. Fonts, images and the film are served from this site alone, so loading a page does not disclose your visit or your IP address to any other company. This is deliberate, and it is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
5. Who else sees it
Our email provider, because email has to travel somewhere, and our payment provider if you place an order. Both act on our instructions. No one else receives your data unless the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to an order are kept for as long as the warranty runs and for as long as tax law requires, whichever is longer.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to how we are using it, and you can ask for it in a portable form. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to your national data protection authority. [Name the relevant supervisory authority once the operating jurisdiction is fixed.]
8. Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where it affects data we already hold about you, tell you directly.
